La murga iluminaba el callejón
Y allí se enamoró del carnaval;
Su corazón, entonces, prometió
Que nunca en su cantar lo iba a olvidar.
Y esas noches vividas por los dos
Sabiendo que el adiós iba a llegar,
Febrero terminó
Y alli los encontró
Marcando, con tristeza, otro final.
Corazon, no contengas más el llanto,
Que hoy llora lo mismo el carnaval,
Y aunque vuelvan a encontrarse año a año,
Escondido en la dulzura de este adiós,
Hay amargura.
Corazón, ¿quién nos quita lo bailado?
Cantemos una última canción
Y dejemos que el adiós siga esperando,
Que la noche esta deseando
Bailar con vos.
Y en este ultimo adiós del corazón
